Watch: GOT7's Youngjae And Park Jimin Sing "I'm All Ears" For Youth Suicide Prevention Campaign
GOT7’s Youngjae and Park Jimin have collaborated for a meaningful new song.
Released on October 15, “I’m All Ears” is a mid-tempo ballad track for the Life Insurance Social Responsibility Foundation’s youth suicide prevention campaign. This is the second song for the campaign, with the previous one being released by Dok2 in September.
The lyrics express, “Don’t think that you are alone. You can talk to me. I’m all ears,” comforting teens who are concerned over their studies, future careers, relationships, and more but feel like they do not have someone to talk to.
Along with the song, a counseling system called “I’m All Ears” has been launched via a mobile application, KakaoTalk, Facebook, and text.
Youngjae commented on his participation in the project, “I also had a lot of concerns on my career path, personal relations, and more as a teenager, so I know how important it is to have someone around to listen. I hope this song I sang with Jimin will provide comfort and strength to youth who feel like they don’t have anyone to talk to.”
Park Jimin added, “Participating in this track gave me an opportunity to think about whether there are people around me who want me to listen to their stories. To youth who need comfort and help, I want to tell them, ‘Don’t think that you are alone. You can talk to me. I’m all ears,’ like the lyrics of this song.”
