Apink's Yoon Bomi To Star In New Drama

Apink’s Yoon Bomi will be taking a lead role in an upcoming drama!

On October 15, a source from Apink’s agency Plan A Entertainment told TV Daily, “It’s true that Yoon Bomi is appearing as a lead character in the new drama ‘Farming Academy’ [working title].”

The agency stated that the drama is being produced by SBS, and a source from SBS has confirmed that Yoon Bomi will be appearing in the project. Initial reports had stated that the drama will be in four parts and is aiming for a February premiere, however the source from SBS stated that there has been nothing decided yet about its broadcast schedule.

This will be the first time that Yoon Bomi takes on a lead role in a drama. She received many favorable reviews for her performance as a supporting character in the tvN drama “Because This Is My First Life” last year.

The new drama held its first script reading last week, and began filming on October 15.
