Watch: Kim Min Suk Makes Hilarious Cameo For "The Beauty Inside"

Kim Min Suk has made a memorable impression as one of Seo Hyun Jin’s many faces for “The Beauty Inside.”

“The Beauty Inside” is about top actress Han Se Gae (played by Seo Hyun Jin), who lives with someone else’s face for a week every month, and Seo Do Jae (played by Lee Min Ki), the director of an airline company who can’t differentiate between faces.

On the October 15 episode of the drama, Kim Min Suk made a surprise appearance as one of Seo Hyun Jin’s transformations.

Initially, Han Se Gae and Seo Do Jae were sitting on his bed and talking. Seo Do Jae’s mother (played by Na Young Hee) burst in the room while Han Se Gae hid under the covers. She angrily yelled at her son, and when she tugged at the blankets to uncover Han Se Gae’s face, Kim Min Suk, the newly transformed Han Se Gae, emerged.

Seo Do Jae and Han Se Gae didn’t realize that the transformation took place due to the former’s condition and the latter being unable to see his (her) face. Seo Do Jae’s mother gaped at the two, shocked from the discovery of a man in her son’s bed. When Han Se Gae began to speak in protest, he (she) as well as Seo Do Jae heard the lower voice and were shocked. To top it off, Han Se Gae’s voice cracked, meaning he (she) had shifted into a pubescent boy.

Kim Min Suk shared, “I was happy that I got to take part in a good drama. It’s been a while since I worked with Lee Min Ki, but there was a great atmosphere while we filmed. I hope that that energy was conveyed well to the viewers.” The two previously appeared in “Because This Is My First Life” and “Shut Up! Flower Boy Band” together.

He added, “The script and key points [of the scene] were so much fun that I was amazed and thought, ‘How did [the writer] write such a great scene?’ I hope people thought it was cute.”
