Get Them Before They're Gone: The Limited Edition K-Beauty Collections We All Need This Season
When talking skincare and makeup, it’s all about finding the right ingredients for your skin and high quality formulas, but let’s be totally honest here, sometimes packaging can be a deal breaker when trying to pick and choose your next BB cushion or foam cleanser, right? Limited Editions are kind of like the temptation we don’t wanna fall into but at the same time the pleasure we patiently wait for, and K-beauty has an expertise in producing beautifully packaged lines we can’t stop thinking about until we have them in our hands. Feel like I’m talking about you? Then take a look at some of our — and soon-to-be your — favorite Limited Edition K-beauty collections we can’t wait to try this season.
Innisfree Birthstone Mineral Powder Collection
Looking for makeup that not even mercury retrograde can ruin? Well, you found it. One of Innisfree’s best sellers — the Matte Mineral Setting — has dressed up for a collection featuring birthstones. The limited-edition powder comes in 12 different versions, each one based on the birthstone assigned to each month of the year. If you’re not familiar with it, this highly-awarded powder is produced from naturally derived Jeju minerals and mint. The double oil-control nature of the product allows for a natural, matte-look finish. Each case has a special and unique message printed on the inside of the cover, dedicated to your zodiac.
Costco’s Case Full Of Seoul
Costco really has it all. The popular wholesaler not only carries your favorite chocolate covered dried mangoes and giant cases of milk, but now also the best of K-beauty. The Case Full Of Seoul contains a selection of 10 of the best K-beauty products out there from seven different high quality brands such as May Coop, 9 Wishes, One O Seven, Urang, Tov, IWLT, and Touch In Sol. Containing a whole skincare routine, this box is the perfect way to get introduced to K-Beauty in an easy way while testing some of the most popular brands out there.
The Face Shop x Coca Cola
One of the most popular drinks in the world — if not the most popular — now also serves as the aesthetic behind The Face Shop’s new limited edition collection. Featuring lip tints, lipsticks, setting powder, BB cushions, and eyeshadows, this collection takes inspiration from the bubbly drink with perfect-for-fall shades.
Etude House Monster Cleaning Set
We’re all in for getting creative for Halloween, but cleansing your face after wearing all that makeup is an absolute must, and Etude House knows it. For this Halloween, the brand has launched a limited edition cleansing set containing a Micellar cleansing water, an oil-infused cleansing water, and of course, a spooky headband, because why not? The collection will be available for a little longer than October 31, but we suggest you get yours soon before it sells out!
VT x BT21 Makeup Collection
It was just about time for the cute BT21 characters to become beauty icons. The new makeup collection from VT Cosmetics in collaboration with BTS features Tata, RJ, Chimmy, Cooky, Mang, Shooky, Koya, and Van. Different from what we expected, the collection is huge! There are lipsticks, lip tints, eyeshadow palettes, foundations, BB cushions, color correctors, luminizers, CC creams, and more. The sad news? It’s currently only available in Korea, but given the ginormous demand worldwide, we’re positive it’s just about time before everyone can have access to these.
Tony Moly Get It Tint MONSTA X Edition
Oh, lip tints. Once you try one for the first time, it’s just so hard to not want them in every single shade, am I right? Add K-pop idols to the formula and then you have a power team. Thankfully, beauty brand Tony Moly knows it and recently teamed up with MONSTA X to launch a collection of six lip tints that range from spicy red to neutral pink. This marks MONST X’s first ever beauty collab, and given how gorgeous these shades are, we’re positive it’s not the last.
BANILA CO Halloween Cleansing Set
As I mentioned before, we applaud creativity on Halloween, but going to bed that night makeup-free is an absolute must. Banila Co just launched a limited edition case for their top seller, the Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm, and it involves a familiar face: Jack Skellington. You can choose between the orange or purple lid – although the formula inside is the same for both — or buy the two-pack so you’re covered for the rest of the year.
Hard to pick just one, huh? It is hard for us too! Which of these is your absolute favorite, Soompiers?
