Watch: Weki Meki And fromis_9 Take On Dance Challenges On "Weekly Idol"

Weki Meki and fromis_9 put their skills and teamwork to the test on MBC Every1’s “Weekly Idol”!

On October 17, the two girl groups appeared as guests on the variety show. Weki Meki performed a roller coaster dance version of their latest title track “Crush,” where they had to dance while the song slowed down or sped up at random times.

The eight members danced along without any difficulty. Throughout the song, Lua warned her members before the song sped up or slowed down. The group’s youngest member Lucy also surprised everyone by kicking off her shoes and dancing bare feet towards the middle of the song.

The group succeeded at completing the challenge and earned applause from the MCs. When asked if she intentionally took off her shoes, Lucy explained that she did so because her shoes were slip-ons.

fromis_9 also took on the roller coaster dance challenge for their newest title track “Love Bomb.”

The song sped up from the start, but the members quickly adjusted to the speed. Jang Gyuri and Noh Ji Sun made small mistakes when the song suddenly slowed down, but the MCs let them slide. Song Ha Young won over the MCs’ hearts for her cute facial expressions when she took the center position.

As the song neared its end, fromis_9 almost succeeded at the challenge until Lee Seo Yeon and Lee Sae Rom bumped into each other. The MCs could not let this one slide and stopped the song.
