Loco Reveals The Extravagant Gifts He Bought His Mother With Songwriting Royalties

Loco has revealed some interesting things about his royalties!

The rapper recently appeared on the October 18 broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Two O’Clock Date With Ji Suk Jin” as a guest.

During the show, DJ Ji Suk Jin asked, “Woo Won Jae said a few days ago that he bought his mother a house with the royalty fees from ‘We Are.’ Wasn’t [the song] co-written by you? What did you do with your royalty fees?”

In response, Loco first explained, “Woo Won Jae, Gray, and I received equal amounts from the royalty fees.” He continued, “With the royalty fees I’ve earned until now, including with ‘We Are,’ I bought my mother a foreign car and an apartment in Seongsu neighborhood.”

Ji Suk Jin couldn’t help awing in wonder at Loco’s proud words. The DJ stated, “You really earned a lot. Was the foreign car a used one?” Loco jokingly replied, “Of course it’s a new car. Used cars don’t have swag.”

Loco previously appeared on the sixth season of Mnet’s “Show Me the Money” and released “We Are” with Woo Won Jae and Gray. He also dropped “YOUNG” with EXO’s Baekhyun for SM Entertainment and SK Telecom’s joint digital project Station x 0.
