Actor Shin Hyun Soo To Take Break From Activities Following Emergency Surgery

Shin Hyun Soo has been revealed to be recuperating after receiving emergency surgery.

On October 19, Shin Hyun Soo’s agency Will Entertainment stated, “Early in the morning today (October 19), Shin Hyun Soo was speedily taken to the hospital. There, he received a diagnosis for pneumothorax. Because it required prompt action, he underwent a simple surgery and is currently recuperating.” Pneumothorax is when the lung collapses due to a collection of free air in the chest cavity.

They continued, “Due to the doctor’s opinion that he takes some rest following the surgery, Shin Hyun Soo will cancel his drama filming schedules planned for the rest of this week. He plans to completely rest.” They also added, “After recuperating, he will return to set and work hard so there are no setbacks in the drama broadcasts.”

The actor currently stars in Channel A’s “12 Nights.”
