Red Velvet's Joy Taken To Hospital Mid-Concert Due To Shoulder Pain

Red Velvet’s Joy left the group’s Singapore concert early to go to the hospital after experiencing severe shoulder pain.

On October 20, Red Velvet held a concert in Singapore, where the members charmed the audience with their sweet singing and their cute outfits. However, in the middle of a performance, Joy suddenly looked uncomfortable, and the other Red Velvet members gathered by her side as their fans worriedly looked on.

Later on, Joy shed tears as she apologized to the fans and said, “I really wanted to perform on stage no matter what, but I [just] heard that I have to go to the hospital.”

Red Velvet then continued the concert with only four members.

SM Entertainment explained, “During the Singapore concert, Joy felt pain in her shoulder. After asking the audience for their understanding, she went to a local hospital, and the medical staff’s diagnosis was that her pain was caused by muscle strain. After arriving in Korea tomorrow, she will undergo a thorough examination.”
