Suzy Donates 100 Million Won To Meaningful Cause For Her Birthday
Suzy celebrated her recent 25th birthday in a particularly meaningful way!
The non-profit organization Life Share Association has revealed that Suzy made a generous donation of 100 million won (approximately $88,452) for her birthday on October 10. Her donation will go towards the treatment of pediatric cancer and leukemia patients.
A representative of Life Share Association remarked, “Just as she did last year, Suzy gave 100 million won [this year]. We are thankful to Suzy for leading the march to create a healthy society with a bright future.”
The representative also confirmed, “We plan to use the funds she donated to cover the treatments costs of pediatric cancer and leukemia patients.”
Suzy has previously shown a great deal of interest in helping patients suffering from pediatric cancer and other incurable diseases. She has also shown support for many other charitable causes. Earlier this year, she made donations to both a foundation for single mothers and a fund supporting educational and environmental improvements in Vietnam and Laos.
The singer-turned-actress is currently busy filming the upcoming drama “Vagabond,” in which she will star opposite her “Gu Family Book” co-star Lee Seung Gi.
