BTS Wins Best International Group And Best Social Media Star At BBC Radio 1's Teen Awards 2018
BTS snagged no less than two awards at this year’s BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards!
On October 21 local time, BBC Radio 1 held its annual award ceremony honoring pop culture achievements beloved by British teenagers.
Although they were unable to attend the ceremony, BTS won the Best International Group Award amidst stiff competition from fellow nominees 5 Seconds of Summer, The Carters, The Chainsmokers, and Panic! at the Disco.
They also took home the Best Social Media Star Award, for which Dua Lipa, Troye Sivan, Lil Miquela, Billie Eilish, and HRVY were nominated as well.
During the show, BBC Radio 1 surprised and delighted fans by airing video footage of the BTS members accepting both awards.
