NCT 127 Makes Debut On Billboard 200 With "Regular-Irregular"
NCT 127 has made their first entry on the Billboard 200 chart with their album “Regular-Irregular”!
Billboard recently confirmed that the group’s album “Regular-Irregular” ranked No. 86 on the Billboard 200 chart. The chart is a weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the U.S., taking into account traditional album sales, track equivalent albums, and streaming equivalent albums. “Regular-Irregular” achieved 8,000 album units by October 18.
The album’s title track “Regular” also made its debut on the World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 2 with 3,000 downloads, which the group previously also achieved with “Fire Truck” in 2016.
NCT 127’s ranking on the Billboard 200 is the second highest by a Korean boy group, and the album is the 10th highest overall K-pop ranking on the chart. Other Korean boy groups that appeared on the chart include BTS at No. 1, EXO at No. 87 and BIGBANG at No. 150.
The group has recently been active in the U.S. with appearances at the 2018 American Music Awards red carpet, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” “Good Day LA,” and more.
