Cha Tae Hyun and Bae Doona are the definition of awkward in “Matrimonial Chaos.”

“Matrimonial Chaos” is about Jo Seok Moo (played by Cha Tae Hyun) and Kang Hwi Roo (played by Bae Doona) who abruptly get divorced and explore the question of what love and marriage really means.

In the drama, Jo Seok Moo and Kang Hwi Roo don’t tell their families that they got divorced, and live together for the time being. Previously, Jo Seok Moo regretted how he had hurt his ex-wife, while she struggled as she was still in love with her ex-husband.

In the released photos, a surprising scenario unfolds, as the two exes are surrounded by their family while they take a family photo together. From Jo Seok Moo’s parents and older sister, to Kang Hwi Roo’s parents and younger siblings, the entire family gathers at a photo studio. Jo Seok Moo and Kang Hwi Roo look decidedly uncomfortable surrounded by their family, who are all in their best attire, but they manage to force awkward smiles on their faces.

“Matrimonial Chaos” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. KST.
