From Idols To Style Icons: Korean Stars That Shined At 19/SS Hera Seoul Fashion Week
The ramp leading up to the futuristic Dongdaemun Design Plaza became frenzied once again this October 15-20 as it became the venue for 19/SS Hera Seoul Fashion Week, where people from all over the world gather and express themselves through their personal styles.
All eyes are on the capital of South Korea as the leading trendsetter, with celebrities taking the role of fashion and beauty inspiration for fans everywhere. This is why it’s not uncommon for designers to enlist the help of stars to promote their brands, and vice versa. This season, in comparison to the last, we’re seeing more fresh, new faces who just might be the next big thing. Here are some of the week’s hottest trends and special guests:
Classic long coats
As the bright skies turn to gray, cold winds start to blow, and the leaves become shades of yellow and brown all around Seoul, make no mistake: autumn has officially started. This means light fabrics and breezy outfits of summer are out in favor of layering and stylish outerwear. While they’re watching out for next summer’s trends, stars took comfort in easy-to-wear long coats that are good investment pieces and statement-making options.
