Lee Guk Joo Calls Out Scammer Who Impersonated Her
On October 29, comedian Lee Guk Joo posted two photos on her Instagram account, calling out the scammer who tried to impersonate her.
Under the first post’s photos, she commented, “Someone is trying to borrow money by impersonating me. It’s not me, so don’t lend money to anyone.” She also added the hashtags, “Crazy,” “My account is hacked,” “Voice phishing,” and “Impersonating Lee Guk Joo.”
In the second post, she commented, “??? Second victim.” The hashtags for this post was “Voice phishing,” “Scammer says I’m in a meeting,” “I’m on vacation,” “If you’re caught, you’re doomed,” “Don’t be fooled,” and “I’ve never seen such a person.”
The photos show the messages between her friends and the scammer. The impersonator is asking for the same thing in both posts as he/she says, “I have to send money to someone really quickly. I can’t do it right now because the certification system isn’t working. Can you do it for me? I’ll give the money back by 5 o’clock.”
