IZ*ONE Tops Domestic And International Charts With Debut Album
IZ*ONE is on their way towards becoming super rookies!
The girl group’s debut album “COLOR*IZ” was released on October 29 at 6 p.m. KST and soon after rose to No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums charts of 8 countries, such as Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
“COLOR*IZ” also topped Hanteo’s real-time chart for best selling albums and also set a new record for the highest number of albums sold on the first day of a girl group’s debut album’s release.
In addition to the success of their first mini-album, IZ*ONE’s title track “La Vie en Rose” did well on digital music charts. On the evening of its release, the song reached as high as No. 1 on three of the major charts (Bugs, Soribada, and Mnet). As of 9 a.m. KST on October 30, the track sat at No. 2 on Bugs, Naver, and Soribada, and ranked No. 4 on Mnet, Genie, and Olleh. At that time, “La Vie en Rose” held on to a top 10 spot on Melon at No. 9.
Congratulations to IZ*ONE!
