Super Junior's Shindong To MC New Quiz Show About Idol Fans

Super Junior’s Shindong will be MCing a new variety show on JTBC’s digital channel Studio Lululala!

The program will be called “Successful Fan LIVE” (literal translation) and use the concept of a quiz show about idols.

According to the production staff, fans’ affections for their favorite idols will be a key point in this quiz program. In the first half of the game, fans will be able to score points as long as they know about their idols’ likes or dislikes, and in the latter half, fans must know about their idols in-depth to answer the questions. To the contestant who demonstrates their passion as a fan and gets all the questions correct, they will be given both the title of “successful fan” and an opportunity to contact their favorite idol one-on-one.

Fans on set participating in the quiz show, as well as fans who are tuning in live at home, will have the chance to participate.

On becoming the show’s MC, Shindong remarked, “As I’ve been an idol for 14 years, when I see junior idols’ performances or music videos, I’m always interested. I’ll work hard so we can have a great time on this quiz show that joins idols and their fans.”

The show is a collaboration between the mobile video app Oksusu and JTBC’s digital channel Studio Lululala. The first episode will premiere on November 13 via Oksusu, and air on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. Fans will be able to view digital spin-off versions of the episodes on Studio Lululala.
