Watch: Yoon Jong Shin And GFRIEND's Yuju Release MV For Collaborative Track

The music video for “Cramming” (literal title), the collaboration between Yoon Jong Shin and GFRIEND’s Yuju, has been released!

“Cramming” is the November release for Yoon Jong Shin’s monthly music project and was composed by Yoon Jong Shin and Lee Geun Ho, with lyrics written by Yoon Jong Shin. It is a traditional ballad that is sung by GFRIEND’s main vocalist Yuju.

The song follows the emotions of someone who is just told that their relationship is over. The lyrics compare the sudden break up to taking an exam, and the process of preparing for that separation feels like cramming information right before an exam. Just like trying to memorize everything even though you may not understand it all, breaking up requires one to try and erase and compartmentalize everything even though you may not accept the situation.

The music video expresses this comparison as well, showing a student not only preparing for an exam, but sorting through her memories as she says goodbye to her relationship.
