D-CRUNCH Talks About Their Previous Plagiarism Accusations
D-CRUNCH talked about being accused of plagiarizing the concepts of other K-pop groups.
On November 12, D-CRUNCH held a showcase for their first mini album “M1112 (4Colors).”
During the event, Hyunwook explained, “We know that we were suspected of concept plagiarism. We were taken aback when we first heard it. Ever since we were young, we had been dreaming of becoming singers and practicing by following our amazing senior idols.”
He then added, “Of course, we want to follow our seniors. We want to become like them. However, that’s all. It has only been three months since we debuted. We are still in the process of finding our colors. We are sorry for the controversy that happened, but we hope people will look at us with an open mind.”
D-CRUNCH debuted in August of this year with “Palace.” They were accused of copying the concepts of other idols like SEVENTEEN.
Their new album will be released on November 12 at 6 p.m. KST through various online music sites.
