BTS Tops Oricon's Weekly Single Chart And Marks New Record As Foreign Artist

BTS has made another amazing achievement!

The group dropped their ninth Japanese single “Fake Love/Airplane pt. 2” on November 7, and came in at No. 1 on Oricon’s daily single chart with an impressive number of sold units. It continued to top the daily single chart for six consecutive days.

On Oricon’s most recent weekly single chart, dated November 13, BTS also came in at No. 1 with sales of 454,829 units. This is the first time a foreign artist has topped one of Oricon’s weekly charts with over 400,000 units in the first week of release.

BTS is set to embark on the Japanese leg of their “Love Yourself” tour this month, starting with concerts on November 13 and 14 at Tokyo Dome.
