Soompi's "Rising Legends" Contestants Eddie And Chang Minsu Shine In "Under 19"
Have you been been watching MBC’s new survival show “Under 19”? If you have, you might have recognized some familiar faces among the 57 young contestants. Two of the talented people competing in the show are none other than “Rising Legend: Season 2” contestants Eddie and Chang Minsu.
Eddie and Chang Minsu competed in “Rising Legends: Season 2,” Soompi’s fan-voted audition event for international K-pop star hopefuls and presented in partnership with Cube Entertainment in 2017.
Chang Minsu, who was a finalist in the rap category of “Rising Legends,” continues to craft his talent by competing once again in the rap category for “Under 19.” To learn more about Chang Minsu (Changm1061), you can read our finalist interview with him here.
Eddie, who recently placed first in the performance category of “Under 19,” is winning everyone over with his mesmerizing girl group and boy group performances. Eddie was a semi-finalist in season two of “Rising Legends” and a finalist in season one!
Chang Minsu and Eddie aren’t the only Rising Legend alumns successfully pursuing their dreams. Alex Christine, the Grand Prize Winner for “Rising Legends: Season 2,” competed in Mnet’s “Produce 48” as a trainee in ZB Label.
Who are you rooting for in “Under 19”? Out of the 57 contestants, there will be a total of nine members in the debut group. The group will sign a 17-month contract with a co-producing company. They members will train for 5 months and promote for 12.
