Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon Talks About Crying While Eating With Members
Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon appeared on the November 15 broadcast of BC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope.”
During the show she talked about how she is practicing how to speak more slowly, her popularity in France, and her love towards Girls’ Generation members.
Hyoyeon said, “I am very impatient, so I misspeak a lot. After making frequent mistakes while speaking, I started to practice speaking slowly. Now the mistakes are gone. I start speaking really fast again if I’m in a good or hyper mood, but I try to speak slowly while filming television shows or appearing on radio shows. So I don’t make mistakes nowadays.”
DJ Kim Shin Young moved on to mention Hyoyeon’s popularity in France. Hyoyeon replied, “I’ve monitored myself too. And the cheering was louder for sure than other members. So I thought, ‘This is it. This is the next place that I should debut.'” She added, “I think they like my performances. I should go to France again.”
Hyoyeon is currently working as DJ Hyo, and is famous for her performances. DJ Kim Shin Young said, “I thought you would dance, but I’m surprised to see you DJing.” Hyoyeon replied, “I’ve done a battle with miss A’s Min before. I saw a DJ there and got interested in DJing. I first started to use machines and other things professionally while producing ‘Sober.’ I think it’s been one or two years since I’ve really started DJing. I practice almost every day.”
Hyoyeon added, “I’m not a model student, but I know that I have to be diligent. If you buy all the equipment, you need a speaker. If you buy the speaker, you need a studio. Luckily, SM provided a place that I can go and practice. So I go there everyday.”
She did not forget to mention her members. “I was never able to say, ‘I love you’ to the members. Tiffany is the one who can express her feelings really well. We’ve all changed because we’ve been together for so long. I’m able to say ‘I love you’ even in our group chat. I wasn’t able to before, but now I can. I’m always thankful for my members, because it’s not easy to spend 10 years together. We cried while we were eating.”
