MAMAMOO's Agency Asks Fans To Vote On Potential Changes To Upcoming Concert
MAMAMOO’s agency RBW revealed that they will finalize whether or not to hold the group’s concert based on votes from fans.
Previously, MAMAMOO’s fans announced a protest against the group’s agency RBW. MAMAMOO’s fan union requested RBW to postpone the group’s concert due to the group’s hectic schedule since January this year.
On November 13, the agency responded that they cannot postpone the concert due to the group’s future release schedules in December. However, on November 15, RBW revealed another statement.
The agency stated, “MAMAMOO’s ‘4 season f/w’ concert has been under preparation for a long time. The preparations are still being made to create a better and more unique concert. However, as we understand and respect the fans’ deep concern, we decided to proceed to a vote where we can gather the ideas and thoughts of fans directly.” RBW’s position is that they will decide whether or not to hold the concert based on the results of votes from fans. The voting will end on November 16, 12 p.m. KST.
RBW added, “We felt that it is meaningless to hold a concert that fans who love MAMAMOO do not want, and do not want to participate in. We will take responsibility for the cause of this incident, and try to become better in order for an incident like this to never happen again.”
MAMAMOO’s new album, “BLUE;S” will be released on November 29, 6 p.m. KST.
