"The Last Empress" And "Children Of Nobody" Premiere And Face Off For Viewership Ratings
Two new dramas have joined the competition for viewership ratings on Wednesday-Thursday nights.
On November 21, SBS’s “The Last Empress” and MBC’s “Children of Nobody” premiered.
According to Nielsen Korea, “The Last Empress” became the No. 1 drama in its time slot after achieving 7.6 percent during episode one and 7.2 percent during episode two in viewership ratings.
“Children of Nobody” recorded 5.2 percent and 5.4 percent during its premiere. It fell a bit short compared to MBC’s previous drama “Terius Behind Me,” which was the No. 1 in this time slot with viewership ratings over 10 percent.
While cable dramas are aggregated slightly differently, MBN’s “Love Alert” recorded 1.5 percent, which is 0.3 percent lower than its previous episode. Since its November 8 episode, the drama has been decreasing in viewership ratings for three consecutive weeks.
KBS 2TV’s “Feel Good to Die” received 2.6 percent and 3 percent in viewership ratings.
