Korean Soldiers Vote For The Celebs They Think Would Make Great Military Life Counselors

A new survey has revealed which stars Korean soldiers think would make the best military life counselors!

On November 25, Korea’s Defense Media Agency published the results of a poll that they conducted from October 22 to November 12. The survey asked 430 soldiers to choose the celebrity that seemed “well-suited for the job of professional military life counselor” and “like a good listener who would listen to even the smallest concerns.”

IU took first place in the poll, garnering 14.4 percent of the total votes. One of the soldiers who voted for her commented, “Many soldiers probably have the experience of listening to IU’s songs in order to find healing in her gentle voice. She also seems easygoing and sociable, so she stands out as an example of an approachable celebrity.”

Yoo Jae Suk came in second place with 11.1 percent of all votes placed, while Red Velvet’s Irene took third with 9.3 percent of the votes. Actress Park Bo Young ranked fourth (with 7.4 percent of the votes), followed by PSY (6.3 percent) and Lee Seung Gi (5.8 percent).
