Girls' Generation's Seohyun Shares Her Ultimate Goal As An Actress
Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun is racing towards a big dream!
She recently participated in a pictorial with The Star magazine as the cover model for its November-December issue.
Befitting the theme “winter paradise,” Seohyun was dressed head-to-toe in white with slight pops of color.
In the accompanying interview, she discussed her career as an actress, her most recent drama “Time,” and her character Seol Ji Hyun.
“Acting is always hard. Because I have to take in and portray a person’s life, I feel that much more responsible,” Seohyun commented. “When acting, you come across a lot of both extreme and subtle expressions of emotions. Your emotions go up and down numerous times a day, from being happy to crying to breaking down. That’s why I concentrated as much as I could in controlling my emotions.”
When asked about her approach to acting, Seohyun shared, “The most important thing is that I become the character. It’s necessary to take the time to fill in the parts that aren’t in the script by myself in order to do so.”
As for her ultimate goal, Seohyun expressed, “This could be a distant dream, but I wish to receive an award at the Cannes Film Festival. I will diligently continue until I achieve this dream. I promised my staff, who work hard for me, that I will get there with them. I also want to better take care of the people around me.”
