Yeo Jin Goo And Kim Sang Kyung Exude Charisma In Official Poster For "The Crowned Clown"
Yeo Jin Goo and Kim Sang Kyung exude their own charisma in an official poster for tvN’s “The Crowned Clown.”
“The Crowned Clown” is about a king who brings a clown who looks exactly like him into the palace to avoid the work of those who wish him dead. It is a remake of the hit film “Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King” starring Lee Byung Hun and Han Hye Joo.
The dark and epic poster shows Yeo Jin Goo dressed in the red attire of a clown. He lifts a clown’s mask from his face to reveal a charismatic gaze. His red robes stand out among the dark robes worn by his ministers, who bow before him. Kim Sang Kyung stands apart from the other ministers, clenching his fists.
A source from the drama stated, “Please look forward to Yeo Jin Goo, who plays dual roles of a king and a clown who have the same face, and Kim Sang Kyung, the chief royal secretary who decides to stake his life for the king. The story of a clown becoming a king amid a risky political situation will convey tension and catharsis.”
“The Crowned Clown” will be airing its first episode on January 7 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
