BIGBANG's Seungri Donates And Volunteers On His Birthday For 2nd Year In A Row

For the second consecutive year in a row, BIGBANG’s Seungri has marked his birthday in a meaningful way.

On December 12, the artist donated 100 million won (about $88,500) from the proceeds of his ramen business, Aori F&B, to Green Umbrella ChildFund Korea. On the same day, he and the employees of Aori F&B participated in volunteering to distribute coal briquettes.

This is his second year in a row donating to Green Umbrella ChildFund Korea on his birthday and his third year in a row volunteering to distribute coal briquettes.

The employees and executives of E-mart, a partner chain, also contributed 30 million won (about $26,500) to the donation, making the total donation 130 million won (about $115,100). Most of the money will go toward providing necessities to children from low-income families, while 30 million won will go to the Seoul Briquette Bank in order to provide warmth during the winter for people with limited incomes.

Seungri posted some photos from the meaningful day on his Instagram, tagging in his caption not only the Aori Ramen employees but also FTISLAND’s Choi Jong Hun, Jinusean’s Sean, and his family and his friends.
