Red Velvet's Irene Shares Story Behind Swapping Choreographies With BLACKPINK's Jennie During Performance
Red Velvet’s Irene explained why her and BLACKPINK’s Jennie danced to each other’s choreographies during their performances on MBC’s “Music Core.”
On December 13, Red Velvet appeared as guests on SBS LoveFM’s “Kim Chang Ryul’s Old School” to talk about promotions for their title track “RBB (Really Bad Boy).”
DJ Kim Chang Ryul said, “It was a hot topic that you swapped choreographies with BLACKPINK’s Jennie. Why did that happen?”
Irene replied, “Jennie was the one who first said that she would learn our choreography. When I asked why she needed to learn it, she said that she would do it during the beginning part [of ‘SOLO‘] where she has to freestyle, so I taught it to her.”
The Red Velvet member continued, “I also have a freestyling part in the middle and said that I would dance to Jennie’s choreography then, so I learned hers too.”
