Seolhyun's Agency Shares Update On Her Health And Clarifies Incident

FNC Entertainment has revealed an update on Seolhyun’s health.

On December 15, Seolhyun appeared visibly ill on stage at an event that AOA was performing at, and eventually, she had to be helped off stage. In response, her agency FNC Entertainment previously said that she “felt dizzy because of the smoke and gunpowder that was used on stage.”

A new statement was released by the agency on December 16 following the doctor’s diagnosis. FNC Entertainment shared, “Seolhyun had mild cold symptoms, so her throat was swollen, and her condition was not great. The hot air of the indoor stage with a lot of people gathered led to momentary hyperventilation. She was examined further immediately, and her condition has recovered a lot now.”

Regarding their previous explanation, the agency clarified, “We checked with the organizer, and the stage effects used for the event were harmless firework effects and did not have gunpowder.”

The statement concludes by apologizing for not providing an accurate explanation previously.
