SM Commemorates SHINee's Jonghyun With Video On 1st Anniversary Of His Passing
SM Entertainment shared a video looking back on beautiful memories of SHINee’s Jonghyun.
Jonghyun passed away on December 18 of 2017, and the video was shared at midnight KST on the first anniversary of his passing. It ends with the text, “Jonghyun. We remember you. We will love you forever. From the SMTOWN family.”

A memorial event for Jonghyun was held on the evening of December 17 at the SMTOWN Theater in the Coex Artium in Seoul, which included a half-hour memorial service and an art festival organized by the Shiny Foundation, an organization created by Jonghyun’s family after his passing.
