Han Go Eun Opens Up About Having A Miscarriage And Her Hopes To Start A Family
Han Go Eun spoke about her hopes to have children on SBS’s “Same Bed Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny.”
In the December 17 episode, Han Go Eun and her husband Shin Young Soo decorated their home for Christmas and prepared to have their nieces and nephews over to their home.
They took out the letters they had written four months ago and looked back at their past. Talking about babysitting their siblings’ kids in a few weeks, she said, “Let’s practice being parents. Our family could get bigger next year. We’re always ready and checked that we’re healthy.”
Her husband agreed, “Our family can get bigger and we’re always ready. We checked that we were healthy. We received tests and got proof that we’re really healthy. People sometimes ask me why we’re not having kids.”
Han Go Eun confessed, “I think there’s a part of me that’s scared. You know I had a miscarriage once.” Her husband said, “After that, I didn’t really bring it up.” She continued, “I had no time after my mom passed away. So many things happened in my family and I was just so busy. But we got all the way here.”
Back in the studio, Han Go Eun explained, “I got pregnant during our first year of marriage, but I had a miscarriage. After the miscarriage, I thought about my age and began going to the hospital. My husband was also tested and we were told we’re both healthy. The hospital said that we’re capable of getting pregnant naturally, but many things happened after my mom suddenly passed away. Along with her passing, there were a lot of things that happened. A year passed by so busily. Things have settled down now, so if it’s a blessing that we can enjoy, I hope it’s something that we’ll be able to experience.”
“Same Bed Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny” airs on Mondays at 11:10 p.m. KST.
