Girl's Day's Hyeri Makes Generous Donation To Help Children In Need

Girl’s Day’s Hyeri has made a charitable donation during the holidays.

According to ChildFund Korea on December 25, Girl’s Day Hyeri made a donation of 50 million won (approximately $44,519) to help sick children. It will be used to pay for the medical expenses of children suffering from diseases.

Hyeri said, “I wondered who needed my love on Christmas and thought of sick children. Through my small donation, I hope the young patients will be able to have hope and be healthy. I heard that having a sick child is hard on the family. I wish Christmas will be warm and full of love for them.”

Hyeri had previously appeared on KBS’s “Love Request” with ChildFund before. Also in 2016, she gave 50 million won (approximately $44,519) each to the Seomun Market in Daegu and to improve housing for senior citizens.
