Wang Suk Hyun's Agency Releases Official Statement After Death Threats Made Against Him

Wang Suk Hyun’s agency Lionheart Entertainment has issued an official statement regarding recent death threats made against the actor.

On December 26, the agency released an official statement that read as follows:

On December 20, Wang Suk Hyun’s school and agency received threatening phone calls from someone who said, “I will kill Wang Suk Hyun.”

On the same day, his school reported the call to 112 and his agency requested an investigation with the Sungdong Police Station. The police were able to pinpoint the public phone booth the suspect had used, and through cctv footage, they were able to identify the man as one of Wang Suk Hyun’s fans. The person was arrested and is currently in jail as the investigation is underway.

Wang Suk Hyun is currently limiting his time outside. When he does have to move locations, his manager will be with him at all times to ensure the safety of our artist. We have also contacted a security firm for additional protection.

Lionheart will work closely with the police to do our best to close the case, and we will do whatever it takes to ensure Wang Suk Hyun’s safety.
