2018 MBC Entertainment Awards Achieves Impressive Viewership Ratings
Many viewers tuned in to watch the 2018 MBC Entertainment Awards!
According to Nielsen Korea, this year’s awards show recorded 14.4 percent during the first half and 18.3 percent during the second half.
The most-watched minute of the night achieved 23.3 percent in viewership ratings when “The Manager” cast member Lee Young Ja gave her acceptance speech after receiving the Daesang (Grand Prize).
On this day, Lee Young Ja was the first woman to receive the Daesang at the MBC Entertainment Awards in 17 years after Park Kyung Lim in 2001. She also became the first woman to ever receive two entertainment Daesangs in the same year.
