BTS, EXO, NCT 127, Lay, And More Rank High On Billboard's World Albums Chart
Billboard has now released its charts for the week ending in January 12, including the World Albums chart!
BTS reigns over the World Albums chart once again, with “Love Yourself: Answer” holding the No. 1 spot for its 15th week in total. The album has been on the chart for 19 weeks overall.
While BTS continues to also maintain the second and third rankings, this week their September 2017 mini album “Love Yourself: Her” has risen to No. 2 while their May 2018 album “Love Yourself: Tear” comes in No. 3—a switch from the order they’ve been holding.
EXO’s “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo” keeps the No. 4 spot as it spends its ninth week on the chart, while NCT 127’s “Regular-Irregular” rises again, now coming in No. 5 after charting at No. 8 last week.
BTS’s “Face Yourself” takes No. 6 this week, while EXO member Lay’s “NAMANANA” rises to No. 7.
EXO’s repackaged album “Love Shot,” featuring the title track of the same name, makes its debut on the chart at No. 8.
NCT 127’s “Regulate” has also risen to No. 9 this week from No. 14 last week, while MONSTA X’s “Take.1: Are You There?” scores No. 10 after coming in at No. 12 last week.
Red Velvet’s “RBB (Really Bad Boy)” is at No. 11, BTS leader RM’s playlist “mono.” is at No. 12, and Stray Kids’ “I am YOU” returns to the chart in the No. 14 position.
Congratulations to all the artists!
