BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU" Becomes Fastest K-Pop Group MV To Reach 600 Million Views
BLACKPINK has set another record on YouTube!
On January 13 KST, BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” became the fastest K-pop group music video to surpass 600 million views on YouTube.
“DDU-DU DDU-DU” is the title track from BLACKPINK’s first mini album “Square Up,” which was released on June 15, 2018 at 6 p.m. KST. The music video has set many new records on YouTube, including becoming the fastest K-pop group music video to reach 150 million, 200 million, 250 million, 300 million, 350 million, 400 million, 450 million, 500 million, and 550 million views on the platform.
It is also only the second music video by a Korean group ever to surpass 600 million views, following BTS’s “DNA,” which reached the milestone on January 9.
