GFRIEND Talks About Topping Charts With "Sunrise" On Their Anniversary

GFRIEND shared their thoughts on the success of their latest album.

After the release of their second studio album “Time for Us” on January 14, GFRIEND’s newest title track “Sunrise”  topped domestic and international music charts.

“Sunrise” reached No.1  on Korean music sites including Bugs, Soribada, and Naver Music, and all 12 tracks of the album entered the charts.

GFRIEND stated, “It’s our first studio album in a while, so we were really excited and nervous. We’ll be able to have more fun during our promotions because of the good reviews of our music. Thank you for giving us lots of your love. Today happens to be the day of our fourth year anniversary, so it’s more meaningful and we’re happy.”

The girl group added, “We’ll work harder in the future, so please cheer for us. And Buddy [GFRIEND’s official fandom], who always gives GFRIEND lots of strength, we love you.”
