EXO's Baekhyun Expresses Gratitude To EXO-L And Super Junior's Kim Heechul After 28th Seoul Music Awards

EXO member Baekhyun expressed his gratitude towards fans and Super Junior’s Kim Heechul.

On January 15, Baekhyun uploaded an image onto his Instagram with the caption, “We received the award our EXO-Ls gave us well. I’m sorry we couldn’t receive it personally at the awards show, but the members and I wanted to at least express our feelings like this.”

The image Baekhyun uploaded was of EXO’s trophy from the 28th Seoul Music Awards that took place on January 15. Baekhyun then added in his caption, “The members and I are going to make you guys happy in 2019 as well! Thank you all and I love you!”

He also left a small thank you to Super Junior’s Kim Heechul, who received the trophy at the 28th Seoul Music Awards on their behalf. “Thank you so much to Heechul hyung!” along with the hashtag #HeechulHyungTookThePhotoForUs.

EXO won a Bonsang (main award) and the Hallyu Star Award at the 28th Seoul Music Awards. The members could not participate in the ceremony themselves, so Super Junior’s Kim Heechul kindly received the Hallyu Star Award on their behalf. Kim Heechul even took the time to convey a special message from EXO’s Baekhyun while receiving the award. He stated, “I’ll make sure to give this award to EXO. EXO member Baekhyun sent a message saying, ‘This is an award we won thanks to our EXO-Ls, so EXO-Ls, please enjoy it.’ Thank you.”
