Apink Talks About Personal Fashion Styles, First Impressions Of New Title Track, And More

Apink appeared on SBS PowerFM’s “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time” on January 18 and opened up about a variety of topics, including personal fashion, behind-the-scenes stories about their new title track, and more.

When asked which member is the most stylish, Jung Eun Ji picked Son Naeun and Choi Hwa Jung asked the follow-up question, “Do you feel pressured when people call you fashionable?” Son Naeun replied, “Not really because I’m just wearing what I like to wear.” Jung Eun Ji had everyone laughing as she added, “Our fans call me ‘Cool neighborhood sister’ because I like to wear tracksuits a lot these days.”

The members also shared a behind-the-scenes story of their new title track “%%.” On whether they knew if the song was going to be a hit from the beginning, Jung Eun Ji revealed, “No, we were actually on the fence. I was worried at first because I heard it and thought, ‘It’s darker than I thought it would be?'” Hayoung also explained, “I also wasn’t sure. But Chorong seemed confident and said, ‘This is going to work.'”

Chorong explained, “I’m friends with the composer so I was the first member to hear the song. And after I heard it, it kept playing in my head. I was certain it would succeed, so I kept persuading the members to go for it.” When asked if any of the members had been against the song, the members said no.

Finally, Apink also shared their hopes to film a reality show together. Chorong said, “I love watching ‘Food Bless You.’ In 10 years, I would love for us to film a reality show where we just go around and eat delicious food.” Jung Eun Ji added, “All of us love eating, but sometimes we have to control our diets for promotional activities, and we get a little on edge. We have to hold back for our stage outfits.”

Apink released their latest title track “%%” on January 7 and has since been busy with promotional activities.
