Super Junior's Leeteuk Sits Out SMTOWN Concert In Chile Due To Health Concerns
Super Junior’s Leeteuk has unfortunately had to sit out the first day of “SMTOWN” concerts in Santiago, Chile due to health concerns.
On January 19, Super Junior’s agency Label SJ posted a notice that read as follows.
Hello, this is Label SJ.
Today, Leeteuk was diagnosed with enteritis in Santiago, and he was unable to participate in “SMTOWN Special Stage 2019 in Santiago.”
After being treated at the hospital, he arrived at the venue but because his condition did not improve, he was unable to stand on stage, and is currently resting and recuperating.
We will continue to watch over his condition in order to determine whether he will be able to perform tomorrow.
We ask for your understanding in this situation. Thank you.
SM Entertainment artists are currently in Santiago, Chile for their performances that will take place on January 18 and 19 (local time). The artists slated to perform this weekend are BoA, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, Key and Taemin from SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT 127, and NCT Dream.
We hope that Leeteuk gets plenty of rest and has a full recovery soon!
