The Lunar New Year special of the “2019 Idol Star Athletics Championships – New Year Special” has released its first teaser video for the upcoming competitions!

The “2019 Idol Star Athletics Championships” will air during the Lunar New Year holidays, which will take place in early February. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the special, which invites idol group members to participate in a variety of sporting events to showcase their athletic capabilities.

The new teaser video begins by showing some of the stars who have shined in the event, including Suzy, IU, TWICE’s Mina, Red Velvet’s Irene, and BTS. They then share snippets of idols like IZ*ONE, TWICE, and Red Velvet having fun and cheering each other on. There are also clips of moments that are sure to get fans excited, like EXO’s Chanyeol returning for bowling, iKON participating in penalty shootouts, and TWICE’s Tzuyu returning for archery.

The last moments of the teaser video are of Jun Hyun Moo’s surprise transformation into Freddie “Moo”cury to get the idols warmed up before the competitions begin.
