Watch: Choi Min Soo Plays Intense Prank On "Master In The House" Cast

On the January 20 episode of SBS’s “Master in the House,” Choi Min Soo played an intense prank on the cast members.

During the episode, Choi Min Soo took Yang Se Hyung and BTOB’s Yook Sungjae to a CBR training room. CBR (chemical, biological, and radiological) training is usually a military exercise and involves learning what to do in case of a gas attack.

However, Choi Min Soo surprised the two members by not putting his gas mask on during the training. When the smoke started pouring in the room, he began to cough and collapsed on the floor. Yook Sungjae and Yang Se Hyung, seriously concerned, approached him to check if he was okay and Yang Se Hyung took off his own mask to give it to Choi Min Soo.

Suddenly, Choi Min Soo turned over and smiled and said, “It’s a lie!” He then revealed that the smoke had been non-toxic and that he had arranged this prank in order to test what they would do in a real-life frightening situation.

Lee Seung Gi, who had been observing from outside, commented, “People really see what they want to see and believe what they want to believe.” Yang Se Hyung agreed, saying, “I felt like my eyes and throat were prickling from the smoke right up until he said, ‘It’s a lie.'”

Choi Min Soo then praised Yang Se Hyung for how he dealt with the situation. When the smoke began to come in, the comedian had helped Yook Sungjae with his mask and offered his own to Choi Min Soo. Choi Min Soo said, “When he offered his mask to me, I felt like I could trust him.”
