B1A4's CNU Enlists In Military With Support From Members

CNU is the first B1A4 member off to the military.

On the afternoon of January 22, CNU entered a training center in Hwacheon County of Gangwon Province, but the exact location and time were not revealed to the public.

His agency WM Entertainment commented, “CNU has completed his entrance. B1A4 members, his family, agency staff, and acquaintances were present with CNU to send him off.”

B1A4’s Instagram shared a photo of CNU with Gongchan and Sandeul before entering. The caption reads, “The eldest CNU who is always reliable, return safely. We will be waiting for you.”

The caption also reveals that a “gift” from CNU to fans will be unveiled on January 26 at 6 p.m. KST.

Ahead of his enlistment, CNU also said his goodbye to fans with a handwritten letter.

Following the period of basic training, CNU will continue his service with his official military assignment. He is scheduled to be discharged on August 28, 2020.
