GFRIEND Shares What They Hope To Achieve With "Sunrise" Promotions
The February issue of magazine Marie Claire features GFRIEND as the cover models.
For the pictorial, each member dressed in an outfit that best represents her characteristic and brings out her unique charm. In the following interview, the members answered questions that address GFRIEND’s unique musical color.
In response to the statement that said GFRIEND’s tracks have consistent texture, Sowon said, “I tend to think ‘It’s all good as long as the song is good.’ That’s why I become very rational when I’m listening to new tracks.” On the other hand, Yerin added that she is thankful to see that their songs convey the group’s unique vibe no matter who is listening.
Umji said, “We are not afraid of changing concepts. We are always looking to try different things and challenge ourselves, but once we receive tracks, we naturally follow the musical color of GFRIEND.” Eunha added, “While our musical color is similar, it is changing little by little just like we have changed since our debut.”
At the end of the interview, the members shared what they hope to achieve with “Sunrise” promotions. They mentioned that they want to go on a world tour, reach first place on music charts, and receive a triple crown on music shows.
