JYJ's Kim Junsu In Talks To Play Leading Role In New Original Musical
JYJ’s Kim Junsu is in talks to appear in a new musical!
On January 25, it was reported that Kim Junsu would be starring in the new musical “Xcalibur,” which will be performed for the first time ever from June 15 to August 3 at the Sejong Culture Center.
His agency C-JeS Entertainment responded to the reports and stated, “Though it’s true that Kim Junsu has received an offer to appear in the musical ‘Xcalibur,’ he is still looking it offer. He has not made a final decision yet.”
“Xcalibur” is based on the story of King Arthur, his legendary sword Excalibur, and the heroes who followed him. The musical will be a dramatic interpretation of the heroic tale, and will be the third original musical produced by EMK Musical Company. The production will be helmed by head director Eom Hong Hyun, considered the Midas hand of the musical industry, scriptwriter Ivan Menchell, director Stephen Rayne, composer Frank Wildhorn, and stage designer Jung Seung Ho.
Kim Junsu is currently appearing in the musical “Elisabeth” as the role of Todd (Death).
