Lee Dae Hwi Talks About Memorable Gifts, Birthday Wishes, And More

Lee Dae Hwi shared a special moment with fans on his birthday through a V Live broadcast where he talked about a variety of subjects! He took questions from fans and shared more about himself.

When asked if the other Wanna One members had congratulated him on his birthday, Lee Dae Hwi replied, “They messaged me as soon as midnight struck, so I was so grateful. Park Woo Jin sent me a very long letter, and I could feel his sincerity.”

He also didn’t forget to talk about his new song “Candle.” In response to the question, “What’s the most memorable gift you’ve received?” Lee Dae Hwi responded, “I think the greatest gift would be if fans listened to our new song. The song was made for you, and it’s even more meaningful because I worked on it with Woo Jin.”

During the broadcast, Park Woo Jin surprised Lee Dae Hwi by arriving with a birthday cake. Lee Dae Hwi expressed his gratitude as he said, “It’s his day off, but he came in to the office to wish me a happy birthday.” Park Woo Jin then spoke to fans and said, “I know you guys already love Dae Hwi, but please keep loving him even more.”

When asked what he wanted to do most for his birthday, Lee Dae Hwi said that he simply wants to share a meal with the people he loves. He also reminisced about past memories as he said, “I also want to go to an amusement park, but I can’t. When I was a trainee, I remember having a lot of fun at an amusement park even though it was raining.”

Finally, Lee Dae Hwi was asked what he wished for on his birthday and he replied, “I wish to receive a reward. It can be for anything, but I wish to receive an award.” Park Woo Jin chimed in by saying, “As long as you work hard, you’ll see good results,” and Lee Dae Hwi added, “I will work hard to make that dream come true.”
