3 Things To Look Forward To In GOT7's Jinyoung's New Drama "He Is Psychometric"
tvN’s upcoming drama “He is Psychometric” is gearing up for its highly-anticipated premiere!
With just one month left until the drama kicks off in March, here are three reasons to tune in to GOT7’s Jinyoung’s unique new romantic comedy:
1. A fresh new take on psychometry
“He is Psychometric” stars GOT7’s Jinyoung as Yi Ahn, a young man with supernatural powers. Yi Ahn has the ability to learn the deepest secrets of anyone he touches by instantly seeing their most powerful memories, and he confidently boasts that he can discover everything about a person in just three seconds.
However, unlike most fictional characters with supernatural powers, the accident-prone Yi Ahn is endearingly clumsy and oafish. Not only is he unable to properly control his own powers, but his limited knowledge and blundering ways actually end up hindering his own investigation.
2. An intriguing mix of the romance and thriller genres
“He is Psychometric” promises to get viewers’ hearts pounding for more than one reason—not only will the drama involve an exciting mystery and a thrilling investigation, but it will also feature a heart-fluttering romance between its two leads.
Rookie actress Shin Ye Eun will star opposite Jinyoung as Yoon Jae In, a girl who has seemingly led a privileged life without a care in the world, but who is actually hiding her own secret struggles. Although Yoon Jae In would do anything to hide her emotional scars and painful past, her valiant attempts to appear strong are complicated by Yi Ahn, who has the ability to uncover others’ secrets in mere seconds.
3. The gorgeous stars
Need we say more? Not only are viewers already looking forward to the chemistry between Jinyoung and “A-TEEN” star Shin Ye Eun, but the drama will also feature an attractive supporting cast led by Kim Kwon and Dasom, who will be playing a prosecutor and a detective respectively.
“He is Psychometric” will premiere on March 4 at 9:30 p.m. KST, following the conclusion of “The Crowned Clown.”
