EXID's Agency Confirms New Boy Group TREI's Debut Date
EXID’s “brother group” TREI is finally making their debut!
On February 1, their agency Banana Culture Entertainment stated, “three-member rookie group TREI will officially make their debut on February 19. TREI is made up of members Lee Jae Jun, Chae Chang Hyun, and Kim Jun Tae who have the ability to produce and compose tracks, and they plan to actively promote themselves.”
The group’s leader Lee Jae Jun and rapper Chae Chang Hyun were originally known as the duo TREI. They released a unit album “UP” in August 2017 and also appeared on “MIXNINE.”
In May 2018, Kim Jun Tae was announced as the third member of TREI, and the group dropped their pre-debut release “NIKE.” They have since been active on SoundCloud and YouTube, where they often show off their skills in rapping, producing, and singing.
Recently, they hosted their own reality show “TREI TIME Begins” and showcased their different charms and personalities.
TREI will be hosting a debut showcase on February 19 at 4 p.m. KST.
