DreamCatcher's Agency To Take Legal Action Against Rumors Surrounding Siyeon

DreamCatcher’s agency, Happyface Entertainment, will be taking legal action regarding rumors of school violence surrounding DreamCatcher’s Siyeon.

The agency posted a statement to the girl group’s official fan cafe, saying that the rumors are not true.

Here is the full statement from Happyface:

Hello, this is Happyface Entertainment.

First, we’d like to apologize for causing concern with rumors about DreamCatcher’s Siyeon during a happy lunar new year.

We’d like to clearly state that the rumors of school violence that are being spread online about Siyeon are not true.

Upon confirmation, we’ve found that the netizen making the claims was a student at the same school as Siyeon, but Siyeon was in no way involved in what that person is claiming.

Happyface Entertainment promises to put in a request to law enforcement to thoroughly investigate the matter and reveal the truth. In addition, we will be taking legal action against defamation and malicious spreading of false rumors, and we will do our best to prevent anything like this from happening again.
