Shin Sung Rok Enraged By Startling Turn Of Events On "The Last Empress"
Shin Sung Rok’s character on SBS’s “The Last Empress” has been having a tough time during the latest episodes.
The newly revealed stills show Shin Sung Rok with a serious and troubled expression while holding a gun at someone who also has a gun pointed at him.

On the previous episode, Emperor Lee Hyuk (played by Shin Sung Rok) was furious upon being betrayed by Chun Woo Bin (played by Choi Jin Hyuk). He was cornered as the suspect behind the attack on Lee Yoon (played by Oh Seung Yoon) but was able to calm himself when Oh Sunny (played by Jang Na Ra) showed that she believed in him. However, he found out that Chun Woo Bin was actually a double agent with Oh Sunny on his side, and Shin Sung Rok skillfully portrayed the mixed emotions of anger, denial, and betrayal. In addition, Chun Woo Bin confessed to Emperor Lee Hyuk that he was Na Wang Shik, the man who had been threatening him the whole time.
In the coming episodes, it will be worth seeing how Shin Sung Rok will depict the detailed emotions of anger and betrayal amidst the quick turn of events.
